Valtavalo® LED tubes are the result of our own product development, manufactured in our Finnish factory with the latest automation technology. LED tubes bring remarkable energy savings: typical direct energy savings vary between 50 and 90% depending on the reference light source and the operating conditions. LED lighting for logistics terminal, DHL Freight Ltd, Vantaa Finland
DHL Freight Ltd's terminal in Vantaa Finland was one of the first installations with Valtavalo’s Finnish made LED tubes. Various measurements were executed in the premises by a technical maintenance professional before and after the installation. In addition to the significant 60% energy savings, the customer noticed that the LED tubes achieve 25% higher illuminance than the T8 fluorescent tubes that were previously used in the premises. Terminal lighting requires durability and energy efficiency, due to high 24/7 usage. Thus, the Finnish made long-lasting product was a natural choice for the site.
