Energy audits

Energy audits are comprehensive reports on energy consumption and the potential for energy conservation implemented according to separate instructions. Energy audits aided by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment are conducted in the private and public service sector, the industrial sector and the energy industry.

In 2006, the energy audit operations expanded to include transportation chains. The Ministry of the Environment has primary responsibility for the energy audit operations concerning residential apartment blocks, which began in 2003.
