Valtavalo Ltd is a Finnish company, specialised in energy-efficient lighting solutions. We aim to improve our customers’ cost-efficiency and competitiveness by providing energy-saving, environmentally friendly alternatives. Valtavalo® LED tubes are the result of our own product development, manufactured in our Finnish factory with the latest automation technology. LED tubes bring remarkable energy savings: typical direct energy savings vary between 50 and 90% depending on the reference light source and the operating conditions. Also, the total cost of ownership of Valtavalo LED tubes is the lowest in the industry.
Over the years, Valtavalo's products have been installed on a variety of destinations – including challenging conditions where most lighting products can not withstand. In addition to domestic market, Valtavalo also operates internationally in many European countries.
LED tubes make schools brighter and save electricity in Vantaa
LED tubes played an important role in generating the energy savings needed for financing energy-saving investments in 14 schools and other public buildings in Vantaa. There were typical municipality-owned buildings selected for the project, like schools, day care centres, sports halls, libraries and a multipurpose centre. About one-quarter of the savings in electricity and heat will come with LED tubes.
Fluorescent tubes were replaced by LED tubes easily by installing them on existing lighting fixtures, which was seen as a better solution than a major renovation by installing integrated LED luminaires.
