LeaseGreen Group
LeaseGreen is a Finnish company dedicated to helping clients in the property sector to improve their profitability and environmental sustainability by enhancing energy efficiency. LeaseGreen seeks out the best solutions available and makes necessary investments. The company’s clients pay monthly fees for the services from the savings achieved through their projects. Monthly fees are invariably lower than the immediate savings. After the end of the project, subsequent savings are enjoyed in their entirety by the property owners. Savings start immediately.
Heka-Vuosaari
During winter 2014 LeaseGreen and Ouman carried out a joint energy saving project which intensified the energy use of certain apartment buildings owned by Helsinki City.
In the project Ouman’s HeatGuards were installed into the heat distribution rooms of five apartment buildings. Through this the heating costs are estimated to decrease roughly by quarter million during the life cycle of the investment.
The buildings have been constructed in 1999−2001 and they are tended by Heka-Vuosaari Oy owned by Helsinki City. The joint project by LeaseGreen and Ouman proved that there are rational possibilities to save energy even in rather new apartment buildings.
