Energy Advice for Consumers

Energy Advice for Consumers offers free-of-charge advice on issues related to residential energy consumption and savings. Consumers can contact either the national advice service Asiaa energiasta (about energy) or the regional energy advisors.

Each region is assigned its own energy advisor who assists housing companies and households in energy matters, regardless of their type of housing.

The operations are funded by the Energy Authority.

You can get answers to your questions about energy on topics such as:

  • selection, replacement and energy-efficient heating of the heating system

  • commissioning and utilisation of renewable energy

  • residential electricity consumption and energy-efficient use of appliances

  • sustainable purchases and energy saving

  • advice on solutions and support possibilities for improving energy efficiency and giving up oil heating

  • electric car charging points

Advice is always offered through guidance and the mapping of options. Energy advisors do not provide recommendations on equipment or system suppliers or carry out planning or dimensioning work.
